ITALIANO. Gli Hinthruna sono nati nel settembre del 2002.

Il nome deriva dall’unione di due parole etrusche (“hintu”=inferno e “thruna”=destino) e significa “Destino Infernale”. La scelta dell’etrusco non è casuale, ma legata alla volontà di volersi legare alla propria terra, la Toscana, la terra madre degli Etruschi.

Nel settembre del 2003, la band registra il demo “Black Woods Of Oblivion” presso il Mi9 studio di Poggibonsi (Siena).

Inizia così un lungo lavoro di promozione che porta la band ad essere recensita su un gran numero di giornali, fanzine e siti web, spesso in maniera positiva.

Vengono inseriti in 3 compilation distribuite in tutto il mondo: Support The Underground, Raw and Wild e Metal Ostentation, quest’ultima edita dell’etichetta portoghese Sound Riot.

Adesso stanno registrando il loro primo album.

INGLESE. The Hinthruna are born in September 2002.

The name derives from two etrurian words (“hintu”= hell, and “thruna”= destiny) and means “Infernal Destiny”. The choice of etrurian is not a casual one, but it’s linked with the birth land of the five components, Tuscany, the mother land of Etrurian, a land where the atavic presence of this civilty is still recorded.

In September 2003 the band enter the recording studio (Mi9, in Poggibonsi, Siena), and with the precious help of Gianni Campatelli, the demo, called “Black Woods Of Oblivion”, is recorded in 4 days.

Then begins a strong work of promotion which brings them to be reviewed in several magazines, fanzine and web-sites, often in a positive way.

They make part in 3 compilations (distributed all over the world) called: Support The Underground, Raw and Wild and Metal Ostentation, this last one performed by the portuguese label Sound Riot.

Now they are recording their first album.
